Position: Energy Sales Advisor [Employed/Self Employed]

Remuneration: Basic + Commission are currently partnering with Octopus on a national door to door field sales campaign.  We are looking for enthusiastic sales individuals to help provide an engaging sales experience for new utility customers.

The Octopus mission began in 2011 when we built our first solar generation plant. Since then, we’ve gone on to build 154 solar farms in the UK, not to mention another 66 projects in France.

We are looking for great sales individuals to work for and represent Octopus brand values, share our passion and deliver a reliable and straightforward experience for new customers.

You will be visiting people at their own homes to promote and sell Octopus products and services.  Full training and support will be provided.

Ideal candidates will be:

  • Strong face to face communication skills.
  • Goal orientated.
  • Committed to providing first class customer service.
  • Educated on and understand the regulatory requirements of the energy industry.
  • Professional appearance.

Essential requirements:

  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Clean criminal record (a DBS check will be carried out)
  • Computer literate – able to use a tablet device
  • Willing to travel within the local region
